About NEOS
The Continuing Medical Education Mission of NEOS is to enhance patient care by improving competence and performance through comprehensive education programs for the purpose of maintaining currency in clinical and research areas of Otolaryngology.
NEOS educational activities present topics relevant to the advancement of science and practice of otolaryngology to expand the medical knowledge of physicians, physicians-in-training, and allied health professionals. Resident presentations are utilized to develop their professionalism and communication skills in return providing quality medical education to attendees. Updates in clinical medicine, investigational studies and new advances in technology and review of best practices in clinical care are presented through lectures, case presentations, and panel discussions.
NEOS' target audience is physicians, physicians-in-training and allied health professionals.
NEOS holds three educational activities each year, presented through lectures, case presentations, and panel discussions.
Through participation in NEOS' educational programs, participants will gain competence and will apply knowledge to improve patient care. The participant's intent to change their behavior and apply knowledge will be expressed through their response to evaluation surveys.
NEOS is accredited by the Massachusetts Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
NEOS designates each meeting activity with AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. credits commensurate with the extent of participation in the activity.
